Player Recruitment
We at St Francis RFC have set ourselves a goal of reaching the Sussex One league and to push for promotion into the London leagues within a five-year period.
In order to do this, we understand that we need to bolster our current squad and are therefore looking to recruit new players.
We have just been promoted to Sussex Division One this season and are playing with the ability and ambition to play in the London Leagues.
We are able to offer select 1st XV players free club membership with subsidised travel expenses* and free training kit. *This will need to be discussed with the Club Chairman and Treasurer when joining the club.
Our coaches are RFU trained and certified and take training twice a week.
All players receive reduced rates on all their sports supplements from an affiliated Nutrionist and have the offer of reduced corporate membership rates at a local leading gym.

We also offer social rugby with our 2nd and Vets teams. The 2nd team play weekly rugby within Sussex division 3 West and our Vets enjoy monthly fixtures against other veteran teams.
We offer training for those who wish to just better your fitness levels and skills.
We have the lowest membership fees of all non-professional Rugby clubs Sussex.
Numerous social events throughout the year for players and families, including; summer barbeques, a summer ladies ball, an annual club dinner and an annual club tour… this year we travelled to Portugal.
St Francis RFC is closely associated with the Irish community within
the Gatwick area and share facilities with the local Irish Emerald Club
and Crawley Cricket Club in the summer.
